Shoemaking course with Prof Raita Steyn from the Department of Humanities Education today. The participants were eager to learn the intricacies of crafting shoes from scratch. They began with an introduction to the materials and tools required, followed by hands-on demonstrations of cutting, stitching, and assembling various components. By the end of the session, everyone left not only with their handcrafted shoes but also with a deeper appreciation for the art of shoemaking.
