The University of Konstanz (Germany) Aluxium student groups presented a session on financial literacy to the community members of Mamelodi. This interactive online session allowed participants to engage directly with the presenters. The group shared practical tips on starting a budget, emphasizing the importance of tracking income and expenses to achieve financial stability. They also highlighted useful tools and resources that can assist community members in managing their finances more effectively. Throughout the session, community members were encouraged to ask questions and share their experiences, creating a collaborative environment for learning. Many found the discussion on setting financial goals particularly valuable, as it provided them with strategies to save for future needs and unexpected expenses.
