Between 30 June and 4 July 2025, we held our second writing session/group supervision for our MEd and PhD students. As always, the school holidays provided an opportunity for MEd and PhD students to work on their respective research studies.
The writing session/group supervision started with one-on-one sessions between individual students and their supervisor – Dr Sekao. The week continued with students working in the Lesson Study Centre where they could get instant feedback on their work. On Friday, 4 July, each student was given some time to present their work to the rest of the students, where they obtained feedback from both their supervisor and fellow students – hence group supervision. This approach enhances students’ collaborative practice, knowledge co-creation and most importantly students’ ownership of their studies. In addition, they become better prepared for their proposal defence. Below are the pictures taken during the sessions.
