The Cancer research team operates under the leadership of Dr Chrisna Durandt and Dr Melvin Ambele and aims to understand the effects of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) on tumour development and progression, as well as how diagnostic parameters of haematopoietic stem cells affect the treatment of haematological malignancies.
