Fun Run

The Health House Fun Run held on Saturday, 2 March, was a vibrant celebration of physical well-being and community spirit. The morning brimmed with energy as over 50 participants kicked off their day with a breath of early-morning fresh air and invigorating exercise. Various students ran with butterfly wings in support of Butterfly Palliative Home. The students also embraced the opportunity to participate in the food parcel drive for fellow UP students in need.

Following the run, the runners enjoyed a well-deserved coffee and socialised while they waited for the announcement of the victors. The winners were rewarded with vouchers from Haloa Coffee and UP shop vouchers to acknowledge their perseverance!

More than just a fun event, the proceeds from ticket sales were directed towards Butterfly Palliative Home for children. It stands as one of only 3 palliative care homes for children in South Africa, offering vital care and support to children in need.
