The Health Sciences orientation day for First-year students was nothing short of exceptional! From the warm welcome by faculty, sub-houses and student representatives to the exploration of our beautiful Prinshof campus through guided tours, every moment was infused with excitement. 

As the new students delved into various stalls hosting interactive games and challenges, they not only had tons of fun, but also started honing invaluable skills, like BP measurement. Students eagerly participated in a variety of activities, from fast-paced badminton and volleyball to dancing the Macarena!

Under the leadership of Professor De Jager, the theme for 2024, “Learn Together, Walk Together” was unveiled with great enthusiasm. He encouraged students to be kind to themselves and to others. His powerful conclusion - to “turn barriers into bridges” - echoed the true essence of Health Sciences.

A sense of unity and purpose enveloped the orientation day. It marked the unforgettable start of the Health Sciences journey for our First-year cohort!
