“The Masters in Technology and Innovation Management (MTIM) is a one-of-a-kind programme in South Africa. It combines structured coursework that tackles innovative and thought-provoking topics which challenge and inspire, with research supported by exceptional faculty. My graduate journey with GSTM expanded my identity as an engineer through exposure to a variety of content that focused not only on traditional managerial practices but also on disruptive and current topics that encourage interdisciplinary and critical thinking. On top of the extraordinary academic offering, I was given the incredible opportunity to participate in the UTFORSK exchange program in Norway. This further enhanced my learning and personal development through an entrepreneurial internship in an exciting technology start-up. The internship allowed me to practically apply what was taught in a real-world context. The hands-on application highlighted how vital and valuable the skills and knowledge covered in the MTIM degree are to an organisation, and how seamlessly they translate from the classroom to the work environment.
