Except for the paper he presented (Capital budgeting methods and the cost of capital: A multivariate analysis of listed South African firms), he also acted as a discusser for another participant’s paper, chaired a session and participated in the discussion with Mr Braam Lowies (doctoral candidate of Prof Hall), on his PhD research proposal, which was presented at the Conference. Valuable relations were established with various academics from other countries.
