Michelle Diers is an External Associate affiliated with the SARChI Professorship in International and Constitutional Law. She obtained both her LLB and LLM (Public International Law), with distinction, from the University of Pretoria. She is currently an associate at Webber Wentzel.

Whilst completing her LLM, Michelle worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute for International and Comparative Law in Africa. After graduating, she took up a position in Institutional Administration and Compliance at a Private Tertiary Institution and went on to hold the position of Acting Registrar until 2019. She has also lectured at the International Trade and Investment in Africa Cohort and published an article in the South African Yearbook of International Law entitled "The Historical Development of International Organisations with Separate Legal Personality Since the Nineteenth Century".
