Prof Benita Zulch represented the Department of Construction Economics at the Constructing Our World Conference held in Sydney on 18-20 September.  The conference was an initiative in collaboration with the Australian Institute of Building (AIB), the New Zealand Institute of Building and the Singapore Institute of Building Limited.  It showcased leading edge technology, construction innovation and best practice methods while giving attendees the opportunity to collaboratively share ideas with colleagues from around the globe.

The Memorandum of Understanding on Collaboration between the AIB and UP was also renewed on 18 September. This agreement seeks to build closer cooperation between the two organisations in enhancing the professionalism of Builders, Construction Managers, Academics and Graduates within the Profession of Construction Management in Australia and South Africa respectively.
