This event was hosted on the 23rd of July 2025 by transformation officers from Commercii, NAT House and House Humanities. The purpose of the Pronouns Event was to raise awareness around the significance of pronouns and to foster inclusivity for all sexualities and gender identities. The event had an engaging panel of diverse, enthusiastic students, enabling them to openly converse and share their experiences whilst educating one another on underlooked issues and their impacts, such as misgendering and the emotional impact that comes with it. Attendees were served Play energy drinks, bottled water, popcorn, sweets and assorted snacks in a vibrant, welcoming space which had visible pride colours reflecting the spirit of inclusion. Overall, the event succeeded in creating a safe community platform for gender-diverse students, affirming to them that they are all heard, seen and appreciated.
