In 2017, the University of Pretoria Senate approved the inclusion of fully online programmes as a component of the University’s Programme and Qualification Mix (PQM). The University then entered into an agreement with Higher Ed Partners, South Africa (HEPSA), to give momentum to this new venture. 

UP, through its partnership with Higher Ed Partners South Africa (HEPSA), has effectively increased awareness and enrolment in several key online programmes, including the Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health, the Postgraduate Diploma in Public Management, and the Higher Certificate in Sports Sciences.

Through HEPSA’s marketing initiatives, the programmes they collaborate on with COES have gained visibility and attracted a growing number of students committed to advancing their professional qualifications through the University of Pretoria.

Collaborating with Enterprises University of Pretoria (Enterprises UP), COES is lending its expertise in offering the Instructional Design Tools for e-Learning online course. This fully online course helps equip educators with the skills to create and deliver engaging online learning experiences using cutting-edge technologies.

The course, coordinated by Dr Mari van Wyk, Senior Learning Designer at COES, provides participants with an immersive experience in creating engaging and educational multimedia content. Enterprises UP’s online training expertise contributes greatly to making this course successful. Known for its impactful training programmes across Southern Africa and beyond, Enterprises UP helps ensure the course reaches a broad audience and maintains its high quality.
