  • The DETA conference wll not provide official transport between hotels and the conference venue at MIE. 

UBER

  • Uber is not avialable in Mauritius, however a taxi service is available.

Train Service - Metro Express 

  • Mauritius has recently introduced and train service, the Metro Express.

  • The Reduit Station is within walking distance of the conference venue at the Mauritius Institude of Education (MIE)

Rental Cars

  • Various rental car options are available at the airport from the major car rental companies.

  • Mauritius drives on the left side of the road - similar to South Africa.
