As celebration of the research conducted during 2020, the Department of Biochemistry, Genetics and Microbiology hosted a research day on 12 November. A selection of talks were presented by postgraduate students and research staff.
Congratulations to the winner of the best PhD talk:
Estha Schmidlin - Craniofacial research: the Down syndrome dilemma.
And the winner of the best MSc talk:
Leandri Kleinsmith (Bezuidenhout) - Transcriptome profiling of chemosensory genes in Sirex noctilio.
