The University is pleased to announce that Dr Nthabiseng Taole has been appointed as the Director of the Department of Research and Innovation Support (DRIS) with effect from Monday, 5 September 2016.

Dr Taole brings to her new position a great deal of experience in research management, having served as Director of Research Chairs and Centres of Excellence at the National Research Foundation, and before that as Policy Advisory Programme Manager at the Academy of Science of South Africa (ASSAF). Dr Taole holds a PhD in Information Systems (Pretoria, 2009).

The University congratulates Dr Taole on her appointment and wishes her well in her future career as Director of DRIS.
