Prof. Japie Schoeman held the ERWAT Chair in the Department of Chemical Engineering since April 2004.
The larger part of his career he spent at the CSIR, where he was Project Leader/Manager: Applied Membrane and Ion-Exchange Technology Research from January 1978 until his retirment from the CSIR in 2004.
