2021 Virtual Tshwane Substance Use Research Symposium
The University of Pretoria and the City of Tshwane Community-Oriented Substance Use Programme (COSUP) held an online substance use research symposium in November 2021.
Substance use is an important health and social issue in South Africa. This virtual event aimed to improve understanding of the scope of drug use, the lived experiences of people who use drugs, drug related harms, and the results of evidence-based approaches to improve the health and well-being of people who use drugs as well as the broader community in Tshwane.
