The final year mechanical engineering students who have elected to take the aeronautics module in their second semester are required to partake in this competition. Teams of students design and test their radio-controlled aircraft throughout the semester as a part of this module. A number of design requirements and rules need to be adhered to in order to compete. This competition is also open to other students as long as they form their own teams and cover their own costs.
