On Friday 01 May 2015, the Candy Stripes took to the turf to face their all-time rivals UJ in their tournament starter. This game always promises to be a thrilling one. Anel Luus, Izelle Verster, Marguerite van Wyk and Natalie Esteves got 4 in the box to secure the win for the Tuks women, setting the pace for the weekend ahead. The final score was 4-3, which meant that the women scored themselves a bonus point in their first encounter.

Saturday, the 2^nd of May was no different for the Tuks women as they faced UCT. The team went full steam ahead putting 8 goals past the opposition and not conceding any goals. The goal scorers were Amoné Mouton (3), Jacinta Jubb ( 2), Anél Luus (2) and Catherine Morris (1).  With another bonus point in the bag, the Tuks form was top class.

Another cracker of a game was on the cards for the team on Sunday 03 May as they faced their league rivals NWU – Pukke.  This game was set to be quite intense. T game ended in Tuks’s favour with the Chané Hill and Marguerite van Wyk just edging the team forward with a 2 -1 victory.

What better way to end off the weekend than bagging 4 bonus point against the Madibas on Monday 4 May. The goal that made it 4 -1 came in the dying minutes of the game. Marguerite van Wyk, Jacinta Jubb, Claire Gibbings and Tarryn Moses were the ones to get their names on the sheet for goals.

The Tuks women come away from the first weekend with four wins and 4 bonus points.
