All staff, students and club members are to be advised that the TuksSwimming 50m pool as well as the hpc 25m pool will both be closed from Sunday 12 June 2016 to Monday 13 June 2016 due to the cold front that has been forecast. The pools will not reopen on Tuesday 14 June as originally planned...

LeRoux Hamman proved that perseverance pays off when he won the 400-m hurdles in a time of 49,24 s at the BestMed-Mondo Meeting on Saturday, 13 June 2016. This race also qualified him for the Olympic Games.

With his performance of 10,01 s on 11 June 2016 at the Racers Grand Prix in Kingston, Akani Simbine (Tuks/hpc) showed that it is only a matter of time before he again runs the 100 m in under ten seconds.

Old Tukkie, Theunis de Bruyn made his debut for the Unlimited Titans in 2014 after the Assupol TuksCricket Team returned victorius from the Red Bull Campus Cricket World Finals in England.

The new Mondo track at TuksAthletics is said to be the fastest in South Africa. If this is the case, Carina Horn might come close to running 100 m in under 11,1 s on Saturday, 18 June 2016. She might even set a new South African record.

Tuks managed to get 5 out of 5 wins this week in the instalment of Carlton Cup League. The boys travelled to the mining town Rustenburg to face 2013 community champions the Impala Rugby Club. The spectators were in full attendance as this was one of the biggest games of the season.
