Old Tukkie, Theunis de Bruyn made his debut for the Unlimited Titans in 2014 after the Assupol TuksCricket Team returned victorius from the Red Bull Campus Cricket World Finals in England. During that season, de Bruyn also made his debut for the SA A team where he hit a double century on debut against the England Lions and has been in the SA A squad again on other occasions since then.

In the 2015/2016 season, Theunis was made vice-captain at the Unlimited Titans for all competitions and was also a loan player to the VKB Knights during the Ram Slam T20 last year.

During the middle of May, it was announced that Theunis de Bruyn will be the new Captain of the VKB Knights for this upcoming season. Assupol TuksCricket is would like to wish him all the best in his new, exciting journey and look forward to following his success as he continues to grow his career.
