Head Coach: Tiaan van der Walt

He is a prominent figure in South African trampolining, serving as Head Coach and Trampoline TC Performance Manager at GymSA, while also being a member of the UAG TC. His journey in trampolining began as a junior athlete, where he achieved Junior Springbok colours and secured a bronze medal at the World Age Group Championships in Tokyo, Japan. Unfortunately, a serious non-trampoline-related accident halted his competitive career at a young age. Despite this setback, Tiaan's passion for the sport persisted, and at just 16 years old, he started assisting his mother, Helen van der Walt, in coaching. Over the years, Tiaan has risen to become the highest qualified trampoline coach in the country, holding the prestigious FIG International Level 3 coaching certification.

Assistant Coach: Lucky Radebe

Lucky Radebe's journey in trampolining began at the age of 7 under the guidance of Helen. By 10, he was mentored by Tiaan van der Walt and became a standout in the under-10 category at the World Age Group Championships, where age groups now typically start at 11-12. Lucky's career is marked by significant achievements, including multiple appearances in World Championship finals. Notably, he placed 4th in the World Games Test event and 6th in the World Games finals in Taiwan, with aspirations set for the 2020 Olympic Games.

Unfortunately, setbacks came in the form of a serious knee injury that required two operations. During his recovery, Tiaan, his coach and mentor, briefly stepped away due to financial obligations, taking a regional management role at Bounce. However, Tiaan has since returned full-time to coaching. Lucky himself has emerged as an outstanding coach, holding rare qualifications as a FIG International Level 2 coach in the country.
