Course contents and target population
This course is primarily intended for ENT-specialists, audiologists, and speech-language pathologists.

The morning sessions will focus on the necessary reference information needed to provide in-depth understanding in modern and future cochlear implants. The afternoon sessions aim at throwing some light on more advanced topics in electrophysiological evaluation and future technology of modern cochlear implants.

Organisation
This course is organised by the University of Pretoria Cochlear Implant Unit (UP-CIU) and the Department of Communication Pathology of the University of Pretoria for 24 August 2012.

Course structure and venue
This is a full day course presented at the Department of Communication Pathology, University of Pretoria.

Assessment and Accreditation
A certificate of attendance with 6 CPD points will be issued to all delegates.

Course Fee
The course fee is R150 per delegate and includes all course notes, lunch and refreshments.
