Prof. Rachel Tsakani Lebese, a research professor in the School Health Sciences at the University of Venda. She coordinates all the research activities in the school.

Prof Seepaneng Salaminah Moloko-Phiri

Prof Seepaneng Salaminah Moloko-Phiri was conferred a PhD in Nursing at the University of Pretoria in 2015. Her doctoral thesis was on “Exploring the meaning and interpretation of the proverb “lebitla la mosadi ke bogadi”: A Phenomenological study.

Prof Roinah Nkhensani Ngunyulu  

Prof Roinah started her career as a professional nurse at Nkhensani Hospital, 1st of October 1991. Her research focused on Indigenous Knowledge System and Midwifery Community Nursing Science.

Dr Thingahangwi Masutha

A lecturer in the department of advanced nursing collaborating with ubuntu community model in nursing in the mental health sub-group.

 

Prof Angelina Maphula

Dr Angelina Maphula is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychology. She has worked for over 11 years in the higher education sector. She specialises in Clinical Psychology and has been registered with HPCSA since 2006. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed and accredited journals.

 

Prof Nombulelo Sepeng

Dr Nombulelo Sepeng, a young scientist who is making significant strides in the field of health care research. As a senior lecturer at the Department of Nursing Science, University of Pretoria, Dr. Sepeng's dedication to advancing health care services and her contributions to academic excellence are nothing short of inspiring.

 

 

Dr Maurine Musie

Ms Musie is a Midwifery Lecturer at the University of Pretoria. She isa seniour lecturer  whose research focus area is on Indigenous Knowledge systems, specifically focusing on collaborating with Traditional Birth Attendants to improve access to maternal health care. Furthermore, she obtained her Masters in Advance Midwifery and Neonatal Sciences 2018 at University of Pretoria. 

 

Dr Rodwell Gundo

Dr. Rodwell Gundo is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow under the supervision of Professor Fhumulani Mavis Mulaudzi in the Department of Nursing Science (Ubuntu CommunityModel in Nursing Project) at the University of Pretoria (UP). He holds Bachelor of Science in Nursing and University Certificate in Midwifery from University of Malawi (Malawi),Master of Science in Nursing (critical care) from University of the Witwatersrand (SouthAfrica), and PhD in Nursing from Auckland University of Technology (New Zealand).Originally from Malawi, Dr Gundo is a senior lecturer at Kamuzu University of HealthSciences (KUHeS). He also worked for Malawi’s Ministry of Health as a Nursing Officer and Senior Nursing Officer. He has extensive experience in research, development andimplementation of training programs for health professionals. He also contributed to the development of various curriculum documents at KUHeS. As a Postdoc, he is actively involved in the Ubuntu research project and also supervises UP postgraduate students.

 

Prof Melitah Rasweswe

Melitah Molatelo Rasweswe currently works as an Associate Professor at the Department of Nursing Science, University of Limpopo. Melitah does research on Indigenous Knowledge, Women's Health, Peri-operative Theater. She is passionate about decolonizing research process, especially with the vulnerable groups by using innovate research methods and techniques such as Photo voice and Lekgotla discussion.

 

Prof Leepile Sehularo

Prof Sehularo is a professor of psychiatry and mental health nursing. He has successfully supervised seven PhD candidates and sixteen master’s students at the NWU and the Shifa-Tameer-e-Millat University in Pakistan.
