UP-Tuks made light work of UFS Kovsies when a strong finish to the game saw the men from Pretoria claim a 29-12 win. WJ Strydom was the star player for Tuks, scoring two great tries in the first half as they lead Kovsies 10-5 at half time.
Kovsies started the second half strongly when Murray Bandesio scored as Kovsies took a 12-10, but it didn’t last very long. Dewald Naude scored immediately from the restart before Luke van der Smit scored during the Tuks powerplay as the game ended 29-12 in favour of Tuks.
