Beeld, has gone on early retirement after being on Media24’s pay roll for the past 28 years and eight months.

Rugby is Gilbert’s speciality, but in his illustrious career he has also reported on athletics, cricket, gymnastics, tennis, wrestling and swimming.

TuksSport’s Marketing and Communications Manager, Henda van Schalkwyk described Gilbert’s appointment as a huge gain.
