With 51 points on the log Tuks have already secured a first place in Section X as well as a place in the semi-final at Loftus Versfeld on 24 July.
“Even so we cannot afford to fall into a comfort zone as the matches against TUT and Silver Valke (17 July) are the last opportunities we’ll have to prepare for the play-offs. They are both tough opponents and we’ll have to be at our best to beat them.”
“It’s actually a blessing in disguise that we end the second round with two hard matches because physical and mental toughness will make all the difference in the play-offs,” said Freddie.
“It is not for me to make any predictions as to who will play who in the play-offs, but a repeat of last year’s final (when Tuks beat TUT) could be on the cards. That makes a solid performance on Friday of significant importance,” added Freddie.
