This result means that OP goes through to the Top 8 round as the Group X winners. They start it on 12 points, followed by Maroela (9), Mopanie third (6) en Geelhout fourth (2).

Boekenhout and Sonop are joint winners of Group Y after the result of their clash on Wednesday, 22 July was declared null and void. Boekenhout initially won 16-14, but it and Sonop made use of unregistered players. Both hostels were punished according to the by-laws of the competition and the result was subsequently changed to 0-0.

Boekenhout and Sonop start the second round both on 12, followed by Olienhout (7) and Kiaat (0).

The Top 8 round starts on Tuesday, 28 July.
