OP’s convincing 35-9 win against Kiaat came as no surprise, but Boekenhout impressed with the way they took care of defending champions Maroela (28-19).

The best contested match was that between Olienhout and Mopanie. Mopanie started in tremendous style, building up a substantial lead of 21-0 before Olienhout fought back like demons to win 36-32.

In the other match played Sonop had to share the spoils with Geelhout (19-19).
