OP is the only team which did not take a knock in the Top 8 round, ending first in Group X with 29 points.

In Group Y Boekenhout won three of their four Top 8 matches, taking top spot with 26 lop points.

In the last Top 8 matches played on Tuesday, 18 August OP and Boekenhout registered wins against Olienhout and Geelhout respectively. Sonop beat Mopanie, whilst Maroela took care of Kiaat.

In the quarter-finals all eyes will not only be on OP and Boekenhout. A determined late charge can be expected from defending champions Maroela and 2008 runners-up Sonop.
