“I will always treasure my involvement with TuksRugby as it was where I made lifelong friends and got my big break as a coach. The 2011 Varsity Cup ‘ride’ was an unforgettable experience and I have now doubt that UP-Tuks 1 will retain their Carlton Cup title. I have had the privilege of working with very talented players and dedicated colleagues,” said Marais.
It is not known who Marais’ successor will be, but an announcement in this regard is expected later this week.
