The other changes are in the front row where Juan (Husky) Schoeman and Jaco Visagie move to the bench to make way for Sabelo Nhlapo and Mbongeni Mbonambi respectively.

There are two ‘new’ faces on the bench. Clayton Stewart, a veteran of four Varsity Cup seasons, replaces Danie Faasen as the reserve scrumhalf, whilst Piet Lindeque got the nod as the utility back. Lindeque will make his Varsity Cup debut if called upon by Marais.
