This was by far one the most disappointing performances of the season, one that put an end to any prospect of the “perfect” season for UP-Tuks.

“We can take a lot from the tournament. I am disappointed that we did not make the final, because I still believe we were one of the best teams taking part. Against UJ we let our guard down and paid the prize for it. It was a dear lesson for all concerned and encouraging that the players took full responsibility for the defeat.

“This refreshing attitude culminated in a much better performance against Pukke. For one we showed the fighting spirit that lacked against UJ,” commented UP-Tuks Head Coach, Riaan Vorster.
