We would like to welcome
Prof Norman Duncan to the Department of Psychology as Emeritus Professor. He holds a professorship in Psychology and is the former DVC: Academic of the University of Pretoria.
His scholarly interests, including his research, and publications are primarily in the fields of authorship development, racism, and social and community psychology. He has co-edited numerous scholarly volumes and textbooks, including ‘Race, Memory and the Apartheid Archive (Palgrave/WUP). He is a former President of the Psychological Society of South Africa (PsySSA) and is an alumnus of the University of the Western Cape, the Université Paul Valery and the Université Bordeaux Montaigne (France).
Professor Duncan has recently been appointed as the next Editor-in-Chief of the South African Journal of Psychology (SAJP), a position that he had previously held as well.
