A teacher-exchange program funded by the Linnaeus-Palme program has been established between the Occupational Therapy Departments at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden & the University of Pretoria, South Africa

The Occupational Therapy Department of the University of Pretoria opened a children's clinic on the Mamelodi campus. The launch took place on 18 February 2011, in collaboration with the National health awareness day: Healthy Lifestyle Awareness day
