Fiyinfoluwa Adesioye is a Ph.D. student at the Centre for Microbial Ecology and Genomics. Her work focuses on determining the crystal structure of a novel esterase from the Namib Desert.
Recently, Fiyin was awarded the Herman R. Branson, Pauling Poster Prize at the American Crystallographic Association meeting 2017, New Orleans for her poster entitled:Crystal structure of a novel carbohydrate esterase 7 family enzyme from a desert metagenome.
