Media

The media function in the Faculty involves liaison with members of the printed and electronic media who are approaching the Faculty with news-related enquiries. It also involves reputation management when contentious issues arise and the generation of news that can be distributed to the media via press releases and e-mail. Members of the media are also referred to specialists and or experts with regard to species-specific enquiries and research related questions.

Members of the media are always welcome at the Faculty. However, media visits to the Faculty are subject to certain protocols of the University of Pretoria and the Faculty of Veterinary Science. Please also contact Mr Chris van Blerk in this regard.
