Seminar on Poverty and Justice

Themes such as the relationship between poverty and the law relating to housing, credit, contract and procedure; and theoretical discourses on the law and poverty will be addressed.

The seminar will conclude with a panel discussion of the recent Constitutional Court judgment in Schubart Park Residents’ Association and Others v City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality and Another (CCT 23/12) [2012] ZACC 26 (9 October 2012).
