Ethics Hotline

UP is committed to a culture of zero tolerance towards fraud, corruption and irregular behaviour. You can help us to achieve this by reporting alleged irregularities and unethical conduct on the UP Ethics Hotline, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Who can use the Hotline?
Staff, students, alumni, donors, external service providers and members of the public.

Who operates the Hotline?
The UP Ethics Hotline is independently operated by the Wisecall Confidential platform, through Mazars Forensic Services, an independent audit firm.

Will they know who made the call?
Whistle-blowers are protected from victimisation by the UP Whistle-blowing and Anti-Fraud Policy and legislation. Whistle-blowers have an option to remain anonymous.

What should I report?
Criminal offences, misconduct and unethical behaviour, such as dishonesty, forgery and damage to the environment and to property, violations of health and safety regulations, and other activities that contravene legislation, existing policies and established ethical practices at UP as well as any other University rule excluding employment grievances.
