UPCT meets Enterprises UP
On the 7th of April, the UP Campus Tours (UPCT) 2025 group had the privilege of meeting with Dr Elmar de Wet, the CEO of UP Enterprises where the students received their shirts for this upcoming tour season. This marked the official takeover by the 2025 Honours students, who have now been inducted to lead UPCT in its pursuit of excellence. The shirts feature the slogan “Going Green” in bold, luminous green lettering, reflecting this year’s UPCT theme of environmental sustainability. This theme celebrates the centenary of the UP Botanical Gardens and will initiate insightful conversations about conservation while UPCT conducts tours across Hatfield’s beautiful campus.

The UPCT team remains deeply grateful for the continued support and sponsorship from Enterprises UP, including their 2025 shirts. This guardianship of UPCT began shortly after it was founded by Prof Karen L Harris in 2003 and has been pivotal in the success of this initiative. We would like to express our gratitude to Dr Elmar de Wet and Mrs Samantha Moller, for their generosity and hospitality. The handover experience was truly a memorable occasion, distinguished by the professionalism that epitomizes Enterprises UP.
