The SAJIE Editor Award is presented annually for the person who had made an exceptional contribution to the South African Journal of Industrial Engineering (SAJIE). Prof Tinus Pretorius has been involved in the journal for the past 15 years, sponsoring the printed version, and acting as a thorough reviewer of journal articles in the journal. With his support and dedication, the journal had managed to grow its stature over the years.
