The academic programme of the Congress is a unique opportunity for you to contribute to a vibrant community, showcase your expertise, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of project management.

The 33rd IPMA World Congress will be held from 27 to 29 November 2024 in Cape Town, South Africa. The congress aims to engage the global community of project owners, practitioners, scholars, and students to participate in active discussions and knowledge sharing towards the realization of HOPE in Africa and beyond. Through a focus on people, purpose and performance, congress participants will reflect on the past and debate the future possibilities of development through projects. The academic track will focus on three diverse areas namely: information technology and artificial intelligence (IT & AI), environmental-social-governance (ESG) and capital projects. Researchers are invited to submit their papers under one of these sub-tracks for consideration.
