On 28 March 2018, it was indeed a “movie magic afternoon out” when the new and improved Performance Management System were introduced to the staff of Faculty Education.

Excitement was in the air when staff walked down the red carpet before entering a spectacular venue with the smell of freshly popped pop corn hanging in the air. And the two main characters…none other than Professor Johan Wassermann and Professor Rinelle Evans from the Faculty of Education. What an honour to the Faculty of Education as this “movie” will be used through-out the University.

The reason for this video was to inform staff that we, Human Resources, heard your plea for a simpler and more customer friendly system, and that is just what we are offering you now. No more back and forth buttons between staff member and line manager, streamlined, reduced to only one page and much more to improve the staff member’s experience. "The ball is now with you, the staff member’s hands. Unleash your potential", said Ms Jeanette Schoeman, Human Resources Business Partner, Faculty of Education.
