Dr René Beyers-Prinsloo is a Lecturer in the Department of Education Management and Policy Studies in the Faculty of Education at the University of Pretoria. Dr Beyers-Prinsloo has made significant contributions to the field of Education Law. She has presented her research findings at international conferences in Bulgaria and South Africa and has published several journal articles. In recognition of her dedication and expertise, she was honoured with the Best Model Lecturer Award in 2023, further attesting to her commitment to excellence in education. Dr Beyers-Prinsloo's research interests lie in the realm of education law. Her PhD research was titled: Professional discretion of public-school principals: An education law perspective.
