  • Collaborator on the Council on Higher Education (CHE) funded project based on the Ali Mazrui Centre for Higher Education (University of Johannesburg) Understanding epistemic access and success of historically disadvantaged students in South African universities.
  • Researcher on an integrative approach to student vulnerability, capabilities and resilience entitled Cultivating an integrated approach to undergraduate student engagement in higher education’ funded by the University of Pretoria’s Research Development Programme (RDP). The broader aim of the RDP project is to design and implement participatory interventions for undergraduate students.

Prof RN Marishane

  • Engaged in an academic book-wring project with the title: When the VUCA storm hits the calm terrain: An intelligent school leader’s response. The project is about leading a school intelligently in a volatile, unpredictable, complex, and ambiguous context.

Dr S Blose

  • Co-investigator in a National Research Foundation (NRF) funded project titled: Leading Schools in the Context of Multiple Deprivation.
