Prof Jan Nieuwenhuis of the Department of Education Management and Policy Studies delivered a paper at the Quality Education Conference at Gallagher Estate on Moral Leadership.
Prof Venitha Pillay of the Department of Education Management and Policy Studies attended the Ethnographic Conference in Pennsylvania. Prof Pillay also presented a guest lecture at George Washington University, Women’s Studies Centre.
Mr Eric Eberlein presented a paper entitled “Balanced Leadership: Linking leadership and learner achievement in the inclusive education environment” at the Inclusive Education Conference entitled ‘Crossing the Divide – Practical Solutions for Inclusive Education’ hosted by MacMillan Teacher Campus, Birchwood Hotel.
In March Dr Teresa Ogina and Dr Sharon Mampane held a workshop on Groenkloof Campus where they trained Principals and Teachers from Nigeria on Teaching effectiveness and performance appraisals.
