The annual exchange of students between the University of Pretoria and Fordham University in New York continued this year with eight of the Department of Economics’ best and brightest completing two of the three modules in the Emerging Markets programme presented by Fordham. During August 2015 the final module will be presented at the University of Pretoria with students from Fordham visiting South Africa to complete the programme alongside our own students.

Apart from following a rigorous academic schedule during their five-week stay in New York, our students also conducted numerous site visits to world-renowned institutions in both New York and Washington DC.
