AWARDS EVENING: 20 June 2006
Top achievers for 2005/2006 were rewarded for their hard work and dedication at an awards evening in June 2006 at the Eduardo Villa Museum, University of Pretoria.
Prof Gill Markus acted as guest speaker and highly emphasised on the following:

Young graduandi are invited to be prepared assuming national responsibilities that the old generation will have to delegate to them;

Career opportunities are numerous in a growing economy like South Africa where we have seen tremendous increase of capital inflow and business opportunities in the past years;
-
An overview of the creation of a highly diversified economic system for the country creating rooms for more investments with both physical and human capital.
Guest speakers at previous occasions included: Prof Chris Stalls, Mr Tito Mboweni, and Prof Salvatore, an international trade specialist.
