The workshop was organised by the IZT - Institute for Future studies and Technology Assessment in Berlin, Germany, and the IER - Institute for Energy Economics and the Rational Use of Energy from the University of Stuttgart in Germany, in collaboration with the Gauteng Department of Local Government and Housing, EnerKey and the University of Johannesburg.
