The congress was hosted by Linköping University from 8 to 13 May 2011. During the congress 18 keynote addresses and over 550 presentations, distributed over 130 sessions, were delivered. More than 600 people from at least 60 different countries participated. Mrs Inglesi-Lotz was among the 20 participants that received a financial scholarship in order to participate in the congress.
